I received my B.A in Philosophy and Psychology from University College Cork in 2012. This was followed by a year as a CACSSS scholar in University College Cork, while I completed an M.A in Philosophy of Mind. I then went on to do a Higher Diploma in Psychology in Trinity College Dublin, researching intentionality and moral judgment.

I began my PhD in the O’Connell Lab in September 2015. My main research interests relate to the impact of cognitive aging on the distinct neural components underlying perceptual decision making. In particular, the contribution of motor processes to aging-related deficits of decision making in older adults.
